Avery

Avery is home now and I am totally enjoying loving on this sweet thing.

I haven't posted about all of the initial excitement and I don't want to forget the details.....

I took a few pictures of Miranda right before Avery's birth in the nursery:

And then around 3:40 am, my phone blared like a foghorn and woke me up....I knew immediately that this was it!  I am so glad that Phillip and I were at the lakehouse when the call came so that we could be there quickly.  Melissa lives a little closer to the hospital so she beat us there.  As is usually the case, there was a lot of waiting....

And then a little before 5 pm the doctor decided that it was time that we meet baby Avery.

HERE THEY COME!  HERE COMES AVERY AND HER DADDY!

She wasn't very happy for the first half hour or so....the nurses just wouldn't leave her alone....
