Biking season is here!

Phillip and I both went biking today....Phillip's bike is powered by a Porshe motor (his Harley) and my bike is powered by ME! For some reason neither one of us had our bikes out much during the winter. Some years I ride my bike regularly all through the winter months, but just didn't this year. This morning I got out all my gear...helmet, gloves, shoes, biking shorts, bag for my phone, water bottle, etc. (I know, it takes a lot of gear just to ride a bicycle). I had a nice ride around Arkadelphia. Phillip had to man an open house this afternoon, but called and said that he and Gaylan were going to ride afterwards. These pictures are Phillip getting on all of his gear.....his gear list is a little different in style, but still very similar to my list. Adults still have toys - ours are just more expensive.

Monkeys??

Melissa and Miranda just never tried this kind of stuff....

Kyler and Evan are on the top shelf of the toy closet.

Easter

No, the picture is not sideways - Evan is.

Mim and Jayden

Miranda, James Alan and Evan acting like a monkey....

The sisters....
I know that it's hard to tell, but Evan is sitting in Miranda's lap and playing with her hair... he is putting his feet up to her head so that he can tickle his feet.

The boys had to hunt Easter eggs inside.

The beautiful bunny cake made by Melissa and the boys.

It rained so hard today! This has been the worst weather that I can ever remember on Easter Sunday. If you notice, almost everybody has on jeans....we all changed into dry clothes after Church. We went to Church at Central Methodist Church in Fayetteville - to the contemporary service. It was the first time that I have been to a contemporary service....I couldn't believe how many people were there - in fact, we had to stand up the entire time. Melissa played hostess this year and did a great job. She had the house all decorated for Easter. Jayden was showing me a basket on the table. He said that Mommy had just set that basket out for decoration and when they got up this morning the Easter Bunny had filled it with all of those eggs! It was a great day and fun times with the fam!

King Cole

Today was Jayden's debut performance as King Cole. He was great! He did not make a single mistake on his lines and spoke clearly and directly into the microphone. I was so proud! In case you're wondering, Melissa made the fantastic crown - if you need a King Cole crown, she's the one to call....
