Although we LOVE the excitement that comes with all of the Pitts boys, we did enjoy a little quiet time to visit before their arrival.
Mim holding Avery for the first time....
The Pitts boys were so excited to see their cousin. She was already
sleeping by the time they got in, but they tip-toed quietly into her room
to get a look and then they wanted to hold her first thing Saturday morning.
We had our Easter-Egg hunt and dinner on Saturday because
Miranda and Avery had to get back to NWA. We had to get
busy and dye eggs Saturday morning!
Miss Avery was all dolled-up for pictures today in her
smocked Easter outfit and bow in her hair!
I wanted a picture of all FOUR of my grandchildren....
it was like trying to get a posed picture of ants! :)
Jayden wanted a picture of just him and Avery (he is a
natural with her BTW)
Last time Evan saw Avery, he didn't want to have
much to do with her, but he wanted a picture this time.
Funny thing...as soon as the picture was taken, he jumped up and
left Avery. Jayden however, slid in as she was falling over and
caught her....
Great Uncle Mike and Avery:
Avery had some company today. Pam got to hold her for a few minutes....
Richard....
Great Uncle Herb and Nancy stopped by too....
After all of the visitors, we had our Easter Dinner and then Miranda and
Avery had to head back to NWA. I know that Avery was exhausted
after all of the excitement!
But not the Pitts Boys! After dinner, they got comfy and put on
their rain boots since it had been raining and we headed out
to hunt eggs...
After hunting eggs, Mim and Mike headed back to Shreveport.
They were able to dodge most of the bad weather around us.
Evan took a bath in my room Saturday night. He is a curious little boy....he
must have asked me 100 questions....
Thank goodness the Easter Bunny was able to find the Pitts boys
this year! They were treated to lots of candy in their baskets, but he
also hid some eggs in the front yard.
Checking out their loot....
The Pitts family headed to Sheridan....it was another great holiday...Love my Family!
