Florida!

Phillip and I joined Melissa, Kerry and their crew for some fun at the beach...the pretty young ladies are cousins to the boys.

Kayaking

I love to get up early and Kayak around the lake. Look at this water - smooth as glass! It is so peaceful...the only sounds are from birds, fish jumping out of the water and my paddle...

Sneaking out....

Yes, this is my boys, sneaking out. Melissa is probably going to regret this someday.... Let me explain....It has been so hot lately and hot weather is perfect for taking in an afternoon movie. Jayden and Kyler love to go to the movies, but Evan is just too young to sit through an entire movie. We tried it once and thank goodness Melissa and I both had taken the boys, so she was able to leave with Evan and the older boys and I stayed and finished the movie. We don't want Evan to feel left out, so.... when Evan goes down for his nap, the boys act like they are taking a nap in Kyler's room and I pick them up out front. They climb out the window (really, I think they could probably sneak out the front door, but this is so much more fun!). We are back before Evan wakes and he just thinks that Cici has come over to visit (and I bring him candy since I'm feeling a little guilty). We went to see Night at the Museum - the Smithsonian. We have a whole list of movies we want to see this summer....

The Triathlon

The triathlon was so exciting! I am so proud of Jayden for completing the entire thing. Especially since he just found out about the event about 2 weeks ago, so he's not had a lot of time to train. I'll let the pictures tell the story.

Muscle Boys

When the girls were growing up, we were usually on vacation the week of the 4th of July. We always had red, white and blue outfits (including hairbows, socks, etc.). I bought the boys t-shirts from Wal Mart today that are red, white and blue - plus they are muscle shirts with cars/trucks (Pop's favorite). The boys were showing off their muscles for me.... It's amazing how big their muscles are - according to Jayden its from playing on their swingset.

Jayden is competing in his first triatlon tomorrow! He will ride one mile on his bike, jog half a mile and swim the length of the pool and back.

Evan's Birthday Party in Hot Springs

This is the birthday boy, Evan. His 3rd birthday is actually on Tuesday, but Melissa and all the Pitts boys decided to have the birthday party at their condo in Hot Springs this weekend. Kara, Tim and their three boys came over to join in the fun. The boys love to swim!

I thought that this picture was so cute. Evan would get a mouth full of water from the pool and run over and spray Melissa....

Mim came up this weekend and joined in on the party fun. We stayed at the condo most of the day. When we left around 5:30, Kara and her family were still there and everybody was either in the pool or hunting turtles on the dock. I bet all these boys slept good last night!

The Bronco
